It's easy to be unhappy about the fact that you're suffering from diabetes. You might feel as though you are the only one who is dealing with this and start to shut others out because they 'don't understand'.
It's important to realize that many, many people are in the same situation as you are. It doesn't necessarily have to be a terrible thing in your life.
In fact, there can be some upsides to being a diabetic. Recently, I asked you about some of the positives you've found as a diabetic, and I got some great responses. So, rather than looking at the glass as half empty, why not start looking at it as half full? Use these responses to help guide you.
